Bangladesh is a country located in Asia. It is a very beautiful country with so much green nature. It has land of 56,000 Miles or 1, 47,570 Square Kilometers area. Bangladesh is a Digital country and growing rapidly.
Tiger is the national animal in Bangladesh, and the Royal Bengal Tigers found in Sundarban. Sundarban is the biggest mangrove forest in the entire world. It is a world heritage and every year lots of tourists come here to visit.
Cox’s Bazar is the longest sea beach in the world, and it is a very beautiful place to visit.
Not only Sundarban or Cox’s Bazar, but there are also hundreds of tourists spots are available here in Bangladesh to visit.
Bangladesh got freedom on 16 December 1971 after a nine-month war against Pakistan. Before 1971, Bangladesh was known as East Pakistan and a part of Pakistan, but after the freedom, we declared our own name, own flag, own national anthem.
Our official language is ‘Bengali’. In 21st February 1952, we fought to keep language ‘Bengali’ alive as the official language of the state of Pakistan. The government meantime wanted to make ‘Urdu’ as the first language of East Pakistan, but the students protested against this decision.
And few of them sacrifice their lives and got Bengali as their first language, we are the only nation who sacrifices lives for language.
And then UNESCO has declared 21st February as ‘International Mother Language Day’. And now people all across the world celebrate this day.
Bangladesh is a democratic country; people after every five years select their leaders with voting.
Now Bangladesh has awesome resources and opportunity to build the nation and they are being a strong economy in Asia.
We love our country very much. We respect the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country. We remember them with peace and condolence.
